Building a Mobile Aerial Work Platform Service Highway

With the efficient cross-regional movement of aerial work platforms, the lack of a standardized, networked, and full-lifecycle service system has become a critical gap in the industry. When equipment operates nationwide, but service support is limited to local areas, failures in remote areas often result in prolonged downtime and increased losses. After the warranty period, service coverage drops sharply, and once equipment enters the second-hand market, it often falls into a service vacuum, accelerating asset depreciation.

To address this fragmentation problem, High-Altitude Intelligent Technology has proposed a dual "service highway" model based on geographical coverage and lifecycle continuity.

The first layer is a nationwide geographical network. Through standardized processes and a digital dispatch platform, numerous high-quality maintenance service providers from the traditional construction machinery sector are integrated into a coordinated system. When equipment fails anywhere, the platform can quickly match the nearest qualified team. This network acts as a navigation application that dispatches resources rather than owns them, and currently connects nearly 200 service points nationwide.

The second layer covers the entire lifecycle of the equipment. For new equipment, preventative maintenance can extend its optimal performance lifespan. Mid-life equipment is eligible for remanufacturing and upgrade services, including diesel-to-electric conversions. For older equipment still in use, certified inspections and a one-year service commitment provide valuable after-sales assurance for used equipment buyers, thereby enhancing liquidity and confidence in the used equipment market.

This "service highway" is reshaping the entire ecosystem. Rental companies no longer need to rely entirely on in-house repairs, while specialized service providers can scale through nationwide orders. Standardized, transparent, and traceable service records—stored as tamper-proof equipment health records—help rebuild trust in the industry. Looking ahead, data-driven predictive maintenance and standardized services will drive the industry from reactive to preventative maintenance, laying the foundation for digital asset management and more mature operations in the aerial work platform sector.
